Cross for Ordinary TimeGod of wisdom and love,

source of all good,

send your Spirit

to teach us your truth

and guide our actions

in your way of peace.

We ask this through

our Lord Jesus Christ,

your Son,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

SOLEMNITY OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST

Corpus ChristiToday we celebrate Christ's gift of the Eucharist, the source and summit of our life together as the Church. In the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy we read “the Eucharist is the primary source of the Church’s energy for carrying out its mission in the world” (par. 10) Every time we share in Holy Communion may we remember that it is union with God and union with our brothers and sisters who eat and drink with us at the Lord’s table. May we live as the one body of Christ.

CHALICE – THIS WEEKEND

ChaliceThe Eucharist unites us.

Not just with people at Mass, but all people formed in the image and likeness of God.

Join Chalice as we celebrate Corpus Christi, June 18-19, and unite with Chalice as they find 2,000 sponsors for children in developing countries. Hear an inspiring message from Deacon Del at Mass, and learn how Holy Communion invites us to satisfy the spiritual and physical hungers of others.

Wedding ringsWEDDING ANNIVERSARIES LIVING AND CELEBRATING THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE

The expression a wedding lasts a day a marriage lasts a lifetime highlights the importance of celebrating and living marriage vows day after day. The married couples in our parish are a sign to us of God’s faithfulness and through their witness we are strengthened. If you celebrated a wedding anniversary in June we shall pray with you and share in your joy at all Sunday (Saturday evening) Masses on June 25th and 26th. Please join us in thanking God for the gift of the married couples in our midst.

YOU CAN BE A HERO FOR THOSE IN NEED

Share LifeThe thousands of people who rely on ShareLife-funded agencies are counting on us to reach our parish goal, so the lifesaving work of these agencies can continue. Our goal this year is $110,000.

To date we have achieved $106,269.75.

“Our goal can be met, but only with your help. I invite you to join today's generation of heroes by making a sacrificial gift to ShareLife. As you contemplate the blessings God has entrusted to you, please join me in giving to ShareLife to the best of your ability.” – Cardinal Thomas Collins.

If you have not yet donated, you can do so using a ShareLife envelope, online through our parish website, or at sharelife.org.

Please give generously.
