​​The Social Life Committee plans events to build community within St. Mary's Parish. Events include appreciations, receptions, picnics, dances and dinners. For more information, contact the Parish Office.​

St. Mary's Social Life Committee Mission Statement:

"The mission of the Social Life Committee is to provide opportunities for sharing, fellowship, spirituality and family growth among all parishioners of the St. Mary's Parish Catholic community by preserving and promoting the vitality of our Parish Family through the offering of various social events and activities, all in the name of Christ."

 

Objectives:

To develop this mission statement, the SLC looked both at its history and re-viewed the activities and events which it currently sponsors. These undertakings seemed to have common elements and focused on the following criteria:

· to support the desire of our parishioners to interact on a social and recreational level.

· to educate and encourage our Parish Community to become more involved in our ever growing and dynamic parish

· to provide and coordinate social and recreational organizations, activities, projects, programs and events to meet the needs of all parishioners

· to be inclusive and involve all segments of our Parish in our activities

· to demonstrate hospitality and welcome all who wish to participate

· to strengthen a sense of community and belonging within the Parish
