June 9 - THE RAINMAKER (1956) - A warm, wonderfully acted drama starring Katharine Hepburn and Burt Lancaster about a lonely woman and her relationship with a charismatic con-man who promises rain in a town suffering from drought; with Lloyd Bridges, Earl Holliman and Wendell Corey. 

June 16 - THE PAJAMA GAME (1957) – Doris Day stars in one of the most ebullient screen musicals ever made about labor troubles and romance in an Iowa pajama factory; with John Raitt and Carol Haney, and energetically directed by Stanley Donen (Singin’ in the Rain).
