May 12 - THE THIRD MAN (1949) – Orson Welles plays the mysterious Harry Lime in this twisting comedy-thriller as a writer (Joseph Cotton) accidentally uncovers a murder plot in postwar Vienna in Carol Reed’s great British film of 1949.

May 26 - THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE (1962) - John Ford’s classic western starring John Wayne, James Stewart and Lee Marvin about truth-telling and myth; as a mild-mannered lawyer faces off against bully outlaw Liberty Valance with help from cynical rancher in a small western town; also starring Vera Miles.

June 9 - THE RAINMAKER (1956) - A wonderfully acted drama starring Katherine Hepburn and Burt Lancaster about a lonely woman and her relationship with a charismatic con-man who promises rain in a town suffering from drought; with Lloyd Bridges, Earl Holliman and Wendell Corey.

June 16 - THE PAJAMA GAME (1957) – Doris Day stars in one of the most ebullient screen musicals ever made about labor troubles and romance in an Iowa pajama factory; with John Raitt and Carol Haney and energetically directed by Stanley Donen (Singin’ in the Rain).

SUMMER CLASSIC MOVIES coming soon starting on Tuesday June 30.
