Welcome to Classic Movies at St. Mary’s Parish – a great chance to see some wonderful classic films on the big screen at no cost. All films are considered for General Audience (unless otherwise noted) and we invite everyone of all ages to come and enjoy some wonderful films.

December 9  MRS. MINIVER (1942) – Greer Garson stars in this award winning drama from WWII about a middle class British family in the days leading up to the war. With Walter Pigeon and Teresa Wright. Winner of six Academy Awards including Best Picture, Actress and Director William Wyler.

 December 16 – THE SHOP AROUND THE CORNER (1940) – Warm and witty Christmas classic about a pair of bickering shop clerks who don’t know they are really pen-pal sweethearts. (The remake of this original is You’ve Got Mail.) Directed by legendary filmmaker Ernst Lubitsch starring a young James Stewart, Margaret Sullavan and Frank Morgan.
