The Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast

PancakesThe Knight of Columbus Council 1626, St. Mary’s Parish will be hosting a Church pancakes and sausages
breakfast in the Church Hall after the 8 am and 10 am masses on November 24, 2024.

Pancakes, sausages, maple syrup and fruit salad will be served.
Coffee, tea, and juice will also be provided.

No reservations required, come on and come all and join us for a wonderful breakfast!

Cost is $ 10 per person or $ 30 per family paid by debit or cash.


 

Oktoberfest – Saturday, October 19th, 2024

OktoberfestMark your calendars! Saturday, October 19th in our Parish Hall from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Hosted by Knights of Columbus, includes German style meal, live music by “Alpine Express”, and 50/50 raffle. Cash bar. Tickets $35/pp available after all masses this weekend and October 5/6 (cash or debit). Proceeds toward Coats for Kids and other local causes. Annual Thanksgiving Food Bank Drive

food driveBags will be distributed by the Knights of Columbus after all Masses next weekend of October 5/6th.  Please return the bags when you attend Mass on Thanksgiving Weekend.  Food items, cash, gift card or cheque donations are welcome.  All food collected will be directed to the Barrie Food Bank who are in need of baby formula, children’s lunch snacks, cereal, beef jerky, Ensure protein shakes, feminine products, diapers (sizes 4-6).  Thank you for your support.

 


Life Chain

Life Chain logoThe Knights of Columbus are sponsoring this year’s Life Chain, an annual vigil to demonstrate against abortion.  The event is promoted by the Campaign Life Coalition.  The event will be held on Sunday, October 6 from 2-3:00 p.m.  Please meet at the Kozlov Centre parking lot at the northwest corner of Bayfield and Cundles Road from 2-3 pm. All are welcome to join this peaceful demonstration.  Signs will be available to display.  

Roses for Life:  Rose iron on patches will be offered after all Masses on the weekend of October 5th and 6th.  Free will donation.
