Your Estate Planning from a Catholic Perspective
Catholic stewardship means making the world a better place through our actions by carefully managing our time and appropriately applying our talents and resources. A Will usually becomes the cornerstone of one’s estate plan and is an example of Catholic stewardship.

A gift of securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) is one of the most financially sound ways to support the Archdiocese of Toronto. When you donate securities to a registered charity, you pay no capital gains tax and receive a tax receipt for the full amount of the gift. It means a great tax break for you and an increased support of various archdiocesan charities such as your Parish, ShareLife, St. Augustine’s Seminary and many others. Learn about legacy and other estate gifts by following this link and reading about bequests, endowments, retirement funds and life insurance policies. To avoid any ambiguities and other potential mistakes, please open a list of correct legal names in the bequests section.
If you already have included any part of the archdiocese in your estate plans, or have an intention to do so, please contact us and join our Legacy Society. Please follow this link to learn more.
