More than 100 pilgrims representing dozens of parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto have traveled to Rome for a Jubilee Year Pilgrimage, November 10-17, under the leadership and spiritual direction of Cardinal Frank Leo and Archdiocesan Year of Jubilee Chair, Fr. Tim Hanley. The pilgrims will pass through the Holy Door at Rome’s four major basilicas: St. Peter’s, St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran and St. Paul Outside the Walls. The group also attended the Wednesday audience with Pope Leo XIV, will travel to Assisi and participate in the Mass to be celebrated by Pope Leo for the Jubilee of the Poor.

Another highlight will be joining Cardinal Leo as he takes “possession” of his titular church in Rome, Santa Maria della Salute in Primavalle, with Holy Mass celebrated on November 15, 2025.

We pray for the safe travel of our archdiocesan pilgrims in Rome and are assured of their prayers for the faithful of the Archdiocese of Toronto.
