This summer, join us on TUESDAYS for a terrific line-up of Classic Movies!

Summer Schedule

Join us for Summer Classic Movies at St. Mary’s Parish, a summer treat of wonderful films of the past on Tuesday afternoons in the hall.

It’s great way to be introduced (or to be reintroduced) to the classic stories that have been entertaining generations.

 

All films are considered for General Audience and we invite everyone of all ages to come and enjoy some wonderful films.

To Kill a Mockingbird

 An afternoon of funny clips and crazy feats of silent comic star Harold Lloyd and his hilarious eye-popping, stunt-filled movies SAFETY LAST    and SPEEDY. A great introduction to silent movies.

Destry Rides Again

 

 

July 23 – DESTRY RIDES AGAIN

The most slam-bang, wildest Western comedy ever made! Deputy sheriff Destry (played by Jimmy Stewart) tames a lawless town without the use of guns while locking horns with wild saloon singer Marlene Dietrich in one of the best westerns of the great film year of 1939. 94min.

We dig into the wonderful world of classic Disney animation with cartoon shorts, behind the scenes

and Walt Disney’s masterpiece Cinderella.

My Fair Lady

August 27 – MY FAIR LADY (at 1:00pm)*

Classic musical adaptation of Pygmalion. Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn) is challenged to learn proper English and manners from the irascible (and confirmed bachelor) Henry Higgins, played by Rex Harrison, in one of the greatest musicals ever made which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1965. 170min (with intermission).
