Annual Mass for the Faithful Departed

The Annual Mass for the Faithful Departed will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 7 p.m. Masses throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Barrie will take place for the souls of the deceased buried at our Catholic Cemeteries.

Cemetery locations and celebrants for this year’s Annual Mass are:

• Christ the King Cemetery, Markham – Most Rev. Vincent Nguyen
• Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill – Most Rev. John A. Boissonneau
• Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto – Most Rev. Robert Kasun
• Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge – His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo, Archbishop of Toronto
• Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby – Reverend Monsignor Edgar Pan
• St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barrie – Most Rev. John Corriveau
