Prayer to St. Michael The ArchangelSt. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in this day of battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.  And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.

The 109th World Day of Migrants and Refugees

Sunday, September 24

The theme is “Free to Choose Whether to Migrate or to Stay.”  Pope Francis acknowledges that while the decision to migrate should always be free, in many cases it is not and referenced the words of the Lord, “I was a stranger, and you welcomed me” reminding us that the Lord’s words are a “constant admonition to see in the migrant not simply a brother or sister in difficulty, but Christ himself, who knocks at our door.”
